The Two Reality Lie

The temporal world is animated and each of us is free to animate our self as we desire. This animation becomes our surrogate, a replacement, or stand-in, for a more meaningful spiritual experience. It is spirit that animates us and we choose the sort of spirits that best support the way we present our self. Once we have made these determinations a community is established. A spiritual community. The spiritual content of temporal reality is populated by temporal spirits created by us and then ignored, creating a background reality. Our ignorance does not diminish this spiritual influence, only our perception of it. This ignorance also separates us from a spiritual reality independent of temporal form.

We have a person, a spiritual person, independent of temporal form. In our ignorance, of all things spiritual, we have created a false reality that pretends to be separate. In that it is false, pretend, in many ways it is a separate reality and does separate us from the spiritual world independent of temporal constraints. It does not have to be that way. We can surrender our determination to be ignorant and allow the appearance of our true spiritual identity to be what animates us. Doing that creates a passage and the spiritual community, known to our true spirit, has permission to populate the temporal world. The two worlds become one and the illusion of two worlds fails. Some call this magic, a miracle, but it is not. It is the way all things are, not some magical interruption, as magic is seen to be, but the simple everyday magic of being able to have cognition and awareness. We exist, that is magic and everything is magical.

The only success that motivates me is divinity. The dissolution of the two reality lie.

I believe our spiritual life is as I have described it. That all people have this same experience. When objective is divine living, choosing to allow the appearance of true spirit source to be what animates, that success changes the spiritual matrix of our shared reality. To my ego, this shift in our spiritual matrix, has the feel of conflict and the temptation to choose false spirits as my animation is strong. I find myself in negotiation. Our relationship with our true spirit is very intimate. Personal and private. My ego prefers it that way, perhaps because that is the only way it has known. Relaxing the ego creates the faculty of servitude and the ego becomes the servant of its true spirit. This is the purpose of ego.

The Content of Contentment

In matters of spirituality, spiritual living, what is possible? I know it is possible to calm my center, to loosen gravity and let go of disturbance to calm. I have done, am doing that. It works, but what then? I have quieted most of the noises that serve only to upset me. The idea is to replace all of that with calm and from that gravity, create, while growing a durable calm. I expect the calm to become my content and by its gravity to produce, content, that is both calm and prosperous. You see I believe in creation, that we are its master. That we create. Theoretically creating a calm place draws to me possibility. Clearly abundance is part of our existence and from abundance, prosperity. A calm prosperity, if calm is to be the place to be. Or a place of being.

To my ego this is unsettling. It wants control but I think it is confused, what ego needs is to be controlled, by calm. When not calm it finds anything to hide that, to control it. A career, a hobby, anything and we tend to ignore what is irritating us by letting ego take charge. It is not a bad thing it just is not what I want to do. I know my time here is very brief and so I look to see the flaws that make ego squirm and then, fix them. I think ego can then prove the magic of now, by being here now. By being calm.

Ego would achieve, but I would not. Ego needs to see the absence of achievement as what it wants, that it has no true control and being controlled is the control it seeks. Calm. I seek to receive what is, to allow it and from that create reality. I know that we create it all the time, but haphazardly. Ego runs amuck imagining control that it can not possibly have. That chaos is what we usually create. It need not be that way. I have many ideas as to what is possible when ego accepts calm and learns of magic, is here now and only now, calm. I believe it is the fabric intended to be worn by the soul but only if it is calm. Our eternal self, our soul, can then make an appearance in this time and place, now.

Wishful thinking? Perhaps. What else is a person to do? Have you got a better plan?

Me and My Ego

People fail to acknowledge that choice has magic. Instead their choice anchors past compromise entangling others.

In order that sustained resolve produces verifiable results, recognized independently to be credible, commitment by my public life is a must. Beginning with past missteps, establish myself, my known person, by my comfort and willingness to engage with anyone. Reveal to all who have an interest, my ability, beginning my life when I concede all excuses. Now; There is no more to explain, it is magic. Being what does exist, Now, proves my worth. Being at ease and openly expressing myself is new to me. I have a long history of making my opinion known and that implies a certain level of comfort in public circumstance. Socially and politically, I have a number of strong opinions. Anyone who knows me personally is unable to escape that. My apologies. The loudness of my opinion is an expression of inner conflict. What I really need to express is found on this blog and I have long been conflicted about making public, the life I live within. I have also long believed it is something I can not escape. As you can see, that is conflict realized. This blog represents my conquest to put the conflict to rest. If you have read my work you know that I have often mentioned the richness of my spiritual life. I expect to successfully end my conflict and connect the spiritual world I know with the shared experience of our animal life. In this transition the spiritual content of my life is distant. I believe it is due to the charge that I make it public, and the path I must cut so that spiritual beings can walk the animal world at my side.

I do believe that I have cleared my future of the obstacles that defeat now. Quite sure that task was finished well over a decade past. Recently, as mentioned here on my blog, I discovered past decisions that were fundamental to the development of my disposition. Having hid them quite well I was surprised to find them where they were. Sitting in plain sight waiting for this writing project and unfolding circumstance to remind me of a past in need of redress. I believe I have committed that redress and am moving along the newly cleared path.

The constant obstacle, in all such endeavors, is Ego. Our Ego develops in our world at a time when we are quite young. The Ego remains young, never quite growing up. It wants to guided, nurtured, loved. It is to be directed but often is the director. It is not intended to be such a thing and so it populates our life with weeds. You see the Ego is our personal garden and if we fail to care for it, the garden is weeds. Even if we should manage our garden into good health, when we slip-up, it always populates the landscape with the same weeds. Now in my life, I think the garden is clear. My tendencies remain, I fixed them in place as a young boy. I will see what I grow in this garden now, hoping to avoid whatever pitfall pretends to spoil me.

Truth and Justice

Located at the top of the sternum is the fifth chakra. It is powerful. I know it as The Sea of Justice and The Seat of Truth. One of its attributes is its connection to the third chakra, Ego. Ego, or the third chakra, resides at the solar plexus. Ego is the crown, the achievement of the lower chakras. It must give permission if we are to grow into the higher chakras. The water for this growth is Justice, we must accept things as they are. Acceptance is an attribute of the fourth chakra, Compassion. Compassion resides in its chakra at the center of the sternum. It is intended as a germ to infiltrate and bind the seven chakras as one. Ego, Justice, Truth and Acceptance are the key to this growth.

The fifth chakra, due to justice, (things being as they are and no other way), is connected to our ability to hear. Its attribute, truth, is connected to speech. These are spiritual qualities and both are silent. They are power. When ego accepts compassion it calms the Sea of Justice, the sky’s clear and light begins to infiltrate reality.

Wooden Ships

The past and the future are intended to fix a moment, now, that can be used to unlock our secrets. The activities of the past determine the possible fates that then draw us forward. Now is the power of choice. We are charged with picking and choosing between the fates we have selected and positioned in the landscape that is our future. We steer our course drawn forward by these fates. We can change the landscape, that is time, giving redress to motive and unpinning the force associated with the past. Much of what we do, now, is with great force. That force broadcasts powerful images into our future. Expectations that are fates. A number of these fates are very powerful, strong enough to force the habits that make certain their fruition.

I have made a habit of unpinning the disastrous choices in my past and correcting the drift caused by their assorted fates. These corrections have now left me adrift looking for a new gravity to power how I am. It is a problem I have not faced before. The gravity of past and future mistakes is vacant and I am haunted only by their memories. It seems I have freed ‘now’ from many of the false constraints so common to being human. But what to do now? I hear the echos rattling around. Past attitudes like sirens calling my name. There is a certain combination, a key here that unlocks this secret. Will I get it right this time? Have I finally decided it is something I am willing to do? I hope so, otherwise it is wearing me out.

Who How or Both. The Ego

The invention that is my self. My birth, its place and time, the community of my genes and the context of my human environment, give how I am a default footprint. I am free to fashion that as I will. I create the environment for my self that restrains truth or lets truth reign. It is my ego that is this deciding force, that presents the example and expresses my choice. Truth has a community. It is absolute, it can suffer no harm and nothing exists without it. Where truth reigns what is absolute is known by who is. The ego can choose to allow this person, the who of how, to forge the ego into its useful tool. To be who I am. When how I am is who I am, I am who am. This is the quest, the prize, the secret of mysticism. To choose to be who am and surrender the temporal person providing my soul a human throne. A temporal place to be who am.

Spirit and Ego

The ego resides in the third chakra. It is as the crown of our early development, our child complete. As a child we depend on others to nurture and support us and this support, good or bad, mimics the fourth chakra, compassion. The ego tends to grow horizontally becoming dependent on gross sensory reward. Intuition does not find its home in our third chakra and the ego likes to consider itself our crowning achievement. It is not. Our forth chakra, compassion, invites ego to grow vertically. It is the gate, or bridge, between the higher and lower chakra’s. The attributes of spirit live in our higher chakra’s. It is here that objectivity is found. We must follow our intuition to open the higher chakra’s and discover that true achievement is found in surrender and acceptance, absent of achievement.

Ego tends to blame itself, so it is not worthy of its spiritual inheritance or to pride itself making spirituality a merit or reward. This draws us into worthless horizons, into temporal reward. Ego finds its true fulfillment by releasing the temporal world, letting it go. This requires compassion. The boundlessness of compassion draws us into our higher chakra’s and I begin to make sense of my existence.

Connecting Self to Itself

I have been very busy with personal growth. In considering past success, and apparent vacancy today, I am recalling how those successes were realized in the past. These considerations have forced new growth. I remember how I found success in the past using imagination. Puzzling images together to piece together a place that is success. A place that can be seen: where image is substance. Most usually we find ourself poorly connected, fragmented. It is normal and so little attention is given to it unless it represents itself as disease. In mysticism this dysfunction is disease and requires attention. The self is intended to be a singular alignment, an alignment that requires commitment. We have just one self that is comprised of variables. It is only when we align these variables as intended that their function can be appreciated. The self needs to be connected to itself if the goal of mysticism is to be realized.

The first challenge, at least for me, is the lower self. I consider it as three variables. They are the three lower chakra’s, Place, Acquaintance and Ego. I resolved my lower chakra’s as a cohesive unit some time ago and have managed to maintain it. There was a time when I forged the union of self by connecting the higher and lower chakra’s. I have since allowed the difficulties of a failed marriage to interrupt that union. Allowing myself to be tangled by the difficulties in my life I traded my success for that. A distraction I failed to avoid. I am now remembering how I managed the alignment in the first place. I used my imagination and puzzled them together with images. Having known that all along, it has just now occurred to me, that I can repeat the process.

Once place, acquaintance and ego are agreed to coexist they can bridge the self. This bridging of self introduces the higher chakra’s completing our growth. From here it is possible to know ourself. It is only possible to know another if we are honest with ourself and only possible to be honest with ourself by building this bridge. Certainly people are effective and know success without committing to, and achieving, this alignment. We enjoy access to all of these variables and employ them to do what we have to do. It is the same with me as I endeavor to do, what I have to do.

It is the fourth chakra that binds the three lower chakra’s to the three higher chakra’s. That chakra is Compassion and is as a germ that, when allowed, is drawn into each chakra equally and binds them as one. The fifth chakra, Justice and Truth, has a symbiotic relationship with the third, Ego. Justice and truth hears all and ego is charged to accept it as is. This is the first step in binding the higher chakra’s to the lower chakra’s. Compassion allows for acceptance without challenge. Ego must accept that. Egos acceptance that things are as they are gives reach to the sixth chakra, Light Gate, which has a symbiotic relationship with the second chakra, Acquaintance. Again ego must give this permission and the light, enlightens. This brings us to Place, the first chakra and Heavens Gate, or, Heavens Acquaintance, the seventh chakra. Again a symbiotic relationship. It is compassion, and egos granting it permission, that binds these as one. Heavens Gate brings to place something more durable than flesh, the Soul, and we can appreciate it in this way.

For me the use of imagination is key in assembling these pieces as a completed puzzle. I can see it and that reveals a landscape and acquaintances, that otherwise, are unknown.
